Download this free Statement of Opposition form to oppose an application for registration of a trade mark in Canada.

This would generally be completed by the owner of an existing trade mark who has reason to believe that the proposed trade mark will be similar to their own, or will be confusing in the mind of the public.

The Statement of Opposition form is in MS Word format, and must be filed with the Trade Marks division of the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO).
