Nevada Abandonment of Homestead

Nevada home owners, are you moving out of your principal residence? If you have filed a Declaration of Homestead naming your current property as your homestead, you will need to file this Abandonment of Homestead.

The Abandonment of Homestead form notifies all parties with an interest in the property that you are abandoning the property as your homestead (in other words, your principal residence, the place in which you live all or most of the time). The form must be filed with the County Recorder's Office and will become a public record.

This Nevada Abandonment of Homestead form is provided in MS Word format, and is easy to download, fill in and print.
